Since 2004, the Austrian metal fittings specialist Mepla-Alfit has contracted its entire European distribution operations to Würth Logistics. The result has been increased shipment transparency, improved stock availability and better cargo utilisation. This, together with cheaper transport prices, has led to a reduction of more than 20 per cent off their overland transport costs.
